The thing that's very special to me, is not literally the diamond like the stone but a pair of earring made up of diamonds given to me by my grandmother. She gave it to me 3 weeks before she passed away. She said that she would love me to have it and that I should take care of it, because her mother (my grand grandmother) gave it to her. Knowing me very well, she also told me that I should just wear it during the most special and significant celebrations in my life because she wouldn't want me to wear it everyday ( she knows how clumsy I am at things, so she wouldn't want me to lose it ). My grandmother was and is still the most amazing best friend I had. So receiving a very precious gift from her means a lot to me. :)

Come with me, there's a world out there that we should see.

Blog Entry #2: Diamonds
According to a famous Marilyn Monroe song, "...diamonds are a girl's best friend , these rocks don't lose their shape. Diamonds are a girl's best friend...". But as for me, diamonds are one of the things that I treasure the most. Not because of its expensive price, but because of its sentimental value to me.

Blog Entry 1: Childhood Memory
It was a sunny and beautiful day. Papang(dad) and I went to the park to try the pink Hello Kitty bicycle he gave me as a present on my eighth birthday.
I was really excited that day and I couldn't hide the bright curve showing up on my face.
When papang and I found a good spot, he started teaching me how to handle the bike. He kept on telling me to just keep calm, relax, balance my body, and keep on paddling. But no matter how hard I try, I still couldn't get it.
I kept on falling and trembling everytime I make an attempt. (I cannot really remember how many times I trembled and how many scars I got)
We would always do it every Saturday, still we always go home tired and disappointed because I still can't get it right.
Until one day, I just said to papang that I give up already.
I wouldn't really consider this as a significant childhood memory, but this experience definitely taught me a good lesson that I totally live up today. That in life, there are just things that are meant for you. There are still a lot of things that you could do and explore. 😊

College Be Like
Though time and tide
have taken us far and wide,
We can still feel,
deep down inside.
That the memories that bind us,
will never be null and void.
For it is the relationships that last,
friends that count,
And memories that we all hold fast,
that defines who we are.
For whatever may we achieve today,
are all built on our past.
